Got it, I make decent eggs, promise. [Victor will crack a couple onto the pan, beginning to cook them. It's a rather serene scene, like Yuri was meant to be here and this was all perfectly normal happenings]

I'll take your word for it...

[Yuuri's head lifts enough to put his arms underneath it, eyes glazing over some as he thought just that. It's just so normal. Victor is being really weirdly normal. He doesn't understand, but on the other hand he can't argue against it. He wants breakfast. He wants to go take a shower. He really wants to know what happened in between those little snatches of the night he can almost remember. But then he also doesn't. Who could live through that kind of shame?]

[Victor just goes about the food prep, eventually taking the boiled water off the stove to pour for tea. Soon he's got a cute plate arranged with eggs and some bread, a little cup of tomato soup with croutons in it, and a cup of tea he squeezes a lemon wedges and some honey into. Victor just looks pleased with himself]

[Yuri stared at it all when it was put down in front of him, his hands momentarily frozen in front of him in his thanks. His mind is numb yelling by now, but his stomach has slid from abject horror at the idea of anything that isn't simple toast to demanding that he inhale everything in front of him. So he compromises and breaks the yolk of his egg to dip the corner of his toast in, nibbling at it as he stares from the corner of his eye over at Victor.]

You should probably eat something too. [He tucked his bite into his cheek, making himself look a bit like a chipmunk.]

A guest should always be served first! [He grins, glad Yuri seemed to have his appetite returned upon seeing the food before him. Victor will turn and pour the remaining soup out for himself, breaking some bread to soak in it. His own tea gets poured, stirring it with a tiny spoon before licking the honey off it.]

I'm glad you're not shy! You won't even start to feel better without food.

[Victor wasn't aware yet of how big his appetite could be. Maybe that was a blessing in this instance. Yuri nearly drops his toast looking at the way Victor's tongue runs over his spoon, and he ends up overcompensating when he tries to correct his grip and ends up crushing part of the bread. He tries to cover it, tearing up the rest of the bread and mixing it into his egg yolk, then shoveling the whole thing into his mouth. He sipped at his tea as well, both hands curled around the cup.]

Yeah, the sooner I can start feeling more human, the sooner I can get out of your hair here.

Going to run away from me so soon? [Is he teasing? Hard to say]

I- Yes? Uh! No! Not running away, I-

[am a train wreck. And he wants to go home. And he wants his phone, his lifeline.

He wants his mom. And the Inn's number is one that he does remember.]

Victor, do you think I could use your phone later? It's kind of important.

[Victor chuckles slightly at the reaction, but it not something he'll push like he meant it. He'd honestly like if Yuri would stick around a little, the man piqued his interest at the banquet, rather magnificently so. Still, he wouldn't be a creep and act in any way like Yuri owed him something. If Yuri didn't want to humor Victor's interest, he'd let it be. He sets his tea down at the mention of a phone]

Of course, let me get it for you. [it's not far off, he grabs it from the counter beside the stove and unlocks it, handing over to Yuri.]

[Yuri's voice is small when he thanks Victor for the phone, and when he excuses himself from the table, he takes the little bowl of soup with him, sipping on it as he listens to the tone on the other end of the line. It's late in the evening at home, hopefully he wouldn't wake one of them up.

His expression crumples when it's picked up, and he sinks don onto the floor on his knees as he talks quietly, explaining that he'd be delayed in traveling again. It was a long story, he'd get it all sorted out, he'd see them soon. He folded the phone between his hands and let it rest against his knees, eyes squeezed shut against the onslaught of tears.; the last thing Victor needs to see is how quickly he falls apart at times.

He looks back at Victor still at the table with a small, slightly uncomfortable smile.]

Thanks. They're....they're looking forward to when I'll be able to come home.

[He picks himself up and heads back to the table to return the phone, finishing his soup as he goes. He feels better at least physically when he's finished his food. The plate, mug, bowl and silverware all go into the sink, where he immediately starts to wash them.]

Do you want me to call the hotel you were staying in? I'll have an easier time talking to them in Russian. I can try and get a hold of your coach from there. [Victor's eye perks at the dishwashing, but he won't protest. It's a polite gesture, Victor usually wouldn't let a guest do anything of the sort, but Yuri looked like he wanted to be busy. Victor could understand the impulse.]

[It's easier than sitting and welling. Yuri's eyes unfocus as he works, brow knitting in thought.]

If you can call them I'd really appreciate it. I want my clothes back, at least.

No trouble. [Victor will lean back on the counter, googling where the hotel was and calling the listed number. He speaks in Russian, saying Katsuki Yuri clearly. His voice drops after a silence, tone clear that something wasn't right. He ends up pulling out a pen and paper, writing a few things down. He hangs up, trying not to look overly concerned]

Your hotel room was robbed last night, I have to call the police because there's a missing person report out on you. I'll handle it. [He didn't see this coming...]

[Victor was trying not to look overly concerned, but the moment he learned that his belongings were stolen, everything else fell out of focus. He felt numb when he spoke up again.]

Everything is gone?

[His phone, his passport, everything. He was stuck here. He barely knows enough Russian to hold up a conversation. He wouldn't be able to get a new passport either because among everything else, his ID was in there too.

The cloth in his hand slips out of his loosening grip and flops sadly onto the floor.]

Some of your clothes are still there, but other than that-- [he'll be calling the police as he talks, cutting off as they pick up. He rattles off in Russian, again saying Katsuki Yuri clearly. As he speaks he'll go around to find his laptop, pulling it over to the counter and putting in his password to open it up. Pulling up a web browser, he'll gesture Yuri towards it. When he's put on hold with the police he finally says]

Use my computer to call your banks, you don't want all your money stol-- Ah-- [another cut off by talking to the police. He has to explain what happened and give his current address, so the cops can come by and check on the man]

[Yuri's hackles go up at the idea, but he can't really say anything either way. Victor is right. So he settles himself down in front of the laptop, his fingers flying over the keyboard. He brings up an instant messenger as well that he can sign in on his own account, using it to make the call to his bank. He's redirected several times, and his leg is starting to bounce anxiously as he finally gets ahold of someone in charge of his accounts. He tries to stay calm as he relays the information as he knows it right now.

Within minutes, his accounts are voluntarily frozen. Nobody can access his assets without the recovery pin that he's given, It's a relief, but at the same time he's just made it much harder for himself to get his affairs back in order. He thanks the person on the other end of the line and cuts off the call, sighing deeply and slumping back again.]

I guess I'm stuck here for a while...

[Victor finishes up on the phone and hangs up.]

Wow! What a mess, I'm so glad I took you home with me!

[Yuri turns back to him with a rather hurt expression.]

You're taking this awfully lightly.

I can handle it for you. Don't worry about anything, Yuri. [He'll pour another cup of the tea]

Long as you need to stay, consider yourself at home.

...Thank you. For all of this. [Don't worry about anything? But that was kind of his thing, he worried. About everything. But breakfast was delicious and he still needs a shower, so Yuri excuses himself, bowing deeply to Victor before beginning the trek back to the bathroom. He's pretty sure there are towels there, clean and waiting to be used.]

[Victor points him back in the right direction, getting back on his phone after Yuri is retreated to the bathroom. He's talking with the customs office about what to do about a stolen passport and ID. He writes down some information, eventually thanking the woman on the line flirtatiously.

By the time Yuri is emerging from the shower, Victor is standing at his front door, chatting rather cheerily with some men in police uniforms. They needed to make sure Yuri was actually safe and accounted for, before closing up the missing person's case. He has Yuri's remaining assets under an arm, a single bag with some scattered clothes that weren't made off with. He'll throw a glance back to Yuri, waving before pointing to him for the cops benefit]

There he is, officers! [he'll go on in Russian-- "sorry about the trouble! Thank you for making it out here so quickly."]

[Yuri stands stock-still in the hall watching Victor talking to the police, rather intimidated by the look of the men. He squeezes the ends of the towel around his shoulders and nods at them, stepping forward to give them any remaining information they needed, with Victor playing the go-between as he explained what he needed. He'd have to stay in the country in the meantime, as he already knew, while they attempted to track down whether any of his cards or identification had been used since being stolen. He bowed once more after they'd finished writing down at least his online contact, knowing he could at the very least receive email updates as long as he had access to Victor's computer.

When they're gone, Yuri slumps over on the sofa he'd settled into over the course of the questioning, settling his towel over his face.]

[Victor bids the police a fond sounding farewell, before retreating back to Yuri. He stands with a foot cocked out, resting on the heel of it with a popped hip, his arms crossed. A little sigh at Yuri's distress, he can understand this is lot to handle]

Seems like you'll be my guest for at least a few weeks. Are you comfortable with that?

[Yuri peeks out from under his towel at that, sucking his lower lip into his mouth then letting it back out again as he stares down at the couch cushion.]

It'll take time to get used to.

Anything I can get you, just let me know. I'll get it done. [he's confident in that! Even if he can get Yuri home right away, he can make this bad situation as comfortable as possible]

Sorry if my enthusiasm appeared misplaced. I'm relieved you were here and safe, not in a drunken stupor during a robbery.
