wauuu This bed is too large

Throbbing. His head is throbbing, and even the light on the other side of his eyelids is too much for him to handle. How much did he drink? Does he even want to know how much he drank? Why had he drank? He knew better, he should have known this would happen-

Oh ugh why does his mouth taste like this...

A deep groan precedes him when he finally rolls out of bed. Why can't he feel carpet underfoo- oh there it is. It's thicker than he remembers it being. His eyes haven't opened yet. He actually has the comforter he'd been tangled up in wrapped around himself tightly, part of it up over his head. His stocking feet are nearly silent as he pads his way down an unfamiliar hall in an unfamiliar house in search of water. He could worry about the rest later, but right this second, he is a spectre in a white duvet in search of relief for his cottonmouth.

[Even just watching him going through the motions here, off the ice, it makes Yuri's heart ache, particularly watching Victor's expression. He knows all of these motions, memorizing them from the first time he'd watched Victor perform them, and he can almost imagine the shimmer of the man's costume for the program in the low lights. He almost wants to stand up and follow along, but...well. That would mean giving himself away as a ridiculous fanboy.

Still, he can't help the little 'wow' that slips out.]

[He'll hold the final moment a while before letting a long breath out. The quiet sound of a compliment draws his eyes just barely catch Yuri's look of adoration. The surprise of it makes Victor blush.]

Wow?

[Shit, he's been caught. His hands come up over his mouth briefly.]

I. I love this program... [He looks down at the floor, red clear across to his ears.]

Y, you do!?

[DOKI DOKI]

[Oh no don't look at him like that his heart can't take it...]

Yeah, I...I'm... [a huge loser] I learned it watching you...

You have!? Do you want to dance together?

[HE LOOKS SO EXCITED, YURI--]

I have a duette version!

[The sudden exuberance catches Makkachin's attention for a couple of seconds, until the dog yawns and rolls over, freeing Yuri's leg.]

I- what? Um...

[Just say yes Yuri you need to do this dance with the man for great justice. Inner monologue or not, Yuri can't really help as he gets to his feet, his hands fidgeting some in front of him.]

I'm not...really used to dancing with other people...

[Victor is suddenly aware he got ahead of himself, but he really wants to have Yuri dance with him again...]

Just dance along side, then! It'll be fun. Not like anybody is around to watch.

[Right, nobody around to watch, just his idol and the man that has been subject of more than one shameful wank. Not that he will ever, ever learn about that.

Still, he can't really bring himself to turn that down. So he bends briefly to retrieve the phone and let Victor find the version in question of the song.]

[Victor will find the duette version of the song, it's a bit more stashed away than his main playlist. He stands beside Yuri this time, giving the man space. He'll face the mirror this time, wanting to watch Yuri in it when he wouldn't otherwise be able to.

He's much more pleased to go through the motions this time, the melancholy stripped from his expression to see Yuri perform so similarly. He really did know it!]

[He knows it pretty well, in fact, and moves around the studio with half his attention on Victor, the rest absorbed by the routine. His own expression is softer than Victor's as he goes through it, only catching Victor watching him when he glances back at the mirror and catches that flash of blue eyes. It makes his face burn slightly as he stops and glances down at the floor, then at Makkachin, then back at Victor.]

[Victor will stop dancing the normal routine at one point, pulling off to something else, which he looks thoughtful about. He catches back up to Yuuri after, a more delicate ballet spin along where a jump would be, the song ending and Victor grinning to Yuuri]

You know it exact! I'm so impressed!

[The praise makes his cheeks turn darker pink and he ducks his head, but he smiles with it as he fidgets at the hem of his shirt.]

It's one of my favorite programs... I thought learning it might help shake me out of this.

We're going to be stuck in here a while, want to come up with a pairs version for fun? [it would give them something to do!]

[The offer makes him pause.] I've never done pair skating before, I wouldn't even know where to begin.

It's just to waste some time and stay active, we could treat it like a normal dance, even. Let's see... [he'll start going on about some positioning-- Yuri in the opening pose, the beginning flourish all his, then an entrance from the left from Victor, completing the duet. He muses through possibilities, giving direction and asking for Yuri's input on moves.

Hours melt away, the room staying warm, almost getting too warm for all the exercise they're getting through repetition of movements. Victor shifts between thoughtful and playful, clearing enjoying the pass time together. When they're both tired out, the skeleton of a number thought through, Victor collapses onto his butt with a pleased sigh, chugging down some water he had in the room.]

Phew..! Yuri, I'm tired... [he'll stretch his legs out in front of him, collapsing his front down flat between them. Damn skaters and their flexibility]

[Yuri leans himself up against the bar running along one wall, sipping from his own bottle of water. He feels a little better about his choice in attire for the day now at least, with as warm as the room has gotten. He'd been entirely absorbed in the ideas for the piece, never quite processing in full that he had been at it for hours, that he'd had his hands on Victor, that the two of them worked together weirdly well at least when it came to this.

He bent double with his feet spaced far apart to try and alleviate some of the burning of his muscles, his forearms pressing against the ground. He isn't as flexible as a lot of skaters, but he was bendier than Victor at least.]

Maybe we should figure out supper soon? I'm getting hungry.

Can we just eat ice cream for dinner? Yakov isn't here to tell me not to.... [he sounds like SUCH a kid asking this, grumbling lazily because cooking is lame and he's exhausted and they totally got a lot of exercise it would be fiiiiine]

[Yuri's brow hovers upward at that, and he shakes his head.] Not after that. But we can eat something and then get into the ice cream later.

Hrrrrmmm... [he'll grumble more, before straightening up, pushing his sweaty hair back with a hand, slicking it behind his ear to look at Yuri]

The stew should be done, now that I think about it. [it didn't sound as good as ice cream dinner, but then he's terribly warm all over. Once they open the door and realize the rest of the house had SHOT down in temperature, the stew would sound like a much better option]

[Yuri's skin is immediately rough with goosebumps when a draft from outside registers. He grimaces and nods some at the stew.] Maybe we can eat in the room. It's so cold out there, what the hell happened?

[Of course, as soon as he steps out to peer at the windows it's obvious: they're snowed in. There would be no leaving,and no getting warm again, at least until the snow managed to bury them, which is unlikely.]

Whoa...

[Victor pops his head out behind Yuri, immediately getting a chill]

Wow! Really came down quick... [he'll throw on a hoodie he had stashed in the studio, heading down to follow the trail of little lamps he left on. The generator would power anything the house had on, but it wasn't huge and wouldn't last if they were careless. The stew should still be steaming in the slowcooker, nice and warm and tender.]

[Yuuri ducks down the hall to retrieve a pair of pants for himself, coming back to the kitchen after Victor in sweats and a slightly overlarge sweater that he was honestly tempted to pull his arms into to try and warm his hands. The stew smells great at least, so he ends up sidling over to Victor to peer into the cooker, his stomach quietly growling at the scent.]

This will probably last us a couple of days... [He grins as he looks back at Victor, then turns to retrieve the bowls from the cupboard behind them. He speaks up thoughtfully as he pulls them down.] Maybe we should try and find some candles. It'll reduce some of the power draw on the generator if we don't have to use the lamps to see where we're going.

[Victor will find a ladle for the stew, letting the scent waft out into the open as he takes the lid off. Two full bowls worth hardly makes a dent in how much was made, so that "last a couple of days" comment answers itself. The candles, though...]

I don't have any candles around. That fluffy idiot upstairs ate three of them and almost choked to death. [HE LIKES TO EAT THINGS HE SHOULDN'T.....]
