wauuu This bed is too large
Throbbing. His head is throbbing, and even the light on the other side of his eyelids is too much for him to handle. How much did he drink? Does he even want to know how much he drank? Why had he drank? He knew better, he should have known this would happen-
Oh ugh why does his mouth taste like this...
A deep groan precedes him when he finally rolls out of bed. Why can't he feel carpet underfoo- oh there it is. It's thicker than he remembers it being. His eyes haven't opened yet. He actually has the comforter he'd been tangled up in wrapped around himself tightly, part of it up over his head. His stocking feet are nearly silent as he pads his way down an unfamiliar hall in an unfamiliar house in search of water. He could worry about the rest later, but right this second, he is a spectre in a white duvet in search of relief for his cottonmouth.

Bbbrrrr, come back to the studio, Yuuri! It's too cold down here!
no subject
Right, right, coming! [He glances through the door of the studio when they get back there, immediately holding up his bowl away from Makkachin when he's promptly investigated for the savory smell.] No, not for doggies. [Not very good at scolding to be honest, but there is an attempt.]
no subject
... hmm, our rooms are going to be freezing tonight. Should we move the heater and share a room?
no subject
Share...? Ah- maybe not, I don't want to put you in an uncomfortable position...

[He smiles faintly, returning to his meal, enjoying the warmth. He'd stay full for a while when he was done with it too, he's sure.]
no subject
I'll take Makkachin, he'll keep me warm. We'll bundle up.

[Supper is finished in short order, and Yuuri is quick about taking the dishes back to the kitchen, leaving the faucet to drip a little bit once everything is rinsed out. He's just as quick in heading back to the bedroom to figure out where to plug the heater in, grateful that he could sleep relatively close to it that night based on the length of the cord. He heads for the studio again to plunk back down on the floor near the heater, his hands pulled into the sleeves of his sweater.]
You know, I would have thought you'd be more used to this kind of cold. Didn't you grow up in St. Petersburg?
no subject
Let me get this started in your room, so it's warm when you got to bed. It's already nice in here, it'll stay comfortable at least for a couple hours. [by then they'll be wanting to sneak off to sleep, anyways]
no subject
When the heater is set up, he kneels to scratch and ruffle Makkachin's face. He gets a lick for his trouble.] Are you sure you wouldn't rather have it in your room? I mean I know you have a bunch of blankets but still.

When it came time to crawl into bed he was still thinking way too hard about this, his feet poking from under the covers toward the heater. The rest of the house was frigid by now and he could hear the wind blowing more snow right up against the house. He shuddered to think just how much had accumulated out there by now.
It was during this line of thought that he heard the door between his and Victor's room open, and he sighed upon the motion of his bed signalling the arrival of one (1) massive poodle settling down on top of the covers right up against the backs of his knees. Still, he reached a hand down blindly to hold out to Makkachin in acknowledgement of his arrival before he went back to dozing. He's not really considering that Victor has been left alone. Or that the man would follow after his dog to find him.]
no subject
Makkachin left me to freeze-- I'm sleeping on the floor, Yuuri. [is the man even awake? Should he speak less hushed? Victor flops down onto the floor by the heater, sighing loud and relieved by the warmth]
no subject
Victor, get off the floor.
no subject
........ really?

Goodnight, Yuuri.
no subject
Mmnight.
[He'll go back to sleep without another thought on it. It's been a sort of productive day, after all, and this was honestly the most optimal situation, keeping the warmth confined to one space. Whether he would still think so when he woke up in the morning...well. That's up for debate.]
no subject
He'll be sleeping in passed Yuuri, having gotten no sleep prior to joining him. He remains grasping the pillow, though one of his hands rests gently outstretched, fingers just barely pressed against the side of Yuuri's shoulder when the younger man wakes. Victor, clearly some kind of mythical beast, somehow looks flawless even in his sleep]
no subject
He's never seen Victor like this before. He'd never even imagined getting the opportunity. He reaches out gingerly with the notion to tuck some of the man's hair back behind his ear, but he stops himself. Dumb. He's being dumb. He can't just do things like that after trying as hard as he has not to let himself get swept up in the weirdly whimsical way Victor seems to live. Propriety is the key here.
So Yuuri eases out of bed then carefully pulls the blankets back up over Victor, leaving him there with the dog to still keep him company. He wanted to go and try to find coffee to get it started before the man woke up.]

Morning, Yuuri.
no subject
Good morning. Sorry I didn't wake you up sooner.
no subject
Sorry I intruded, it was too cold!
no subject
[He picks himself up off the floor, holding his own emptied mug by the handle as he settled down on the foot of the bed with his legs pulled up to cross in front of him.] There's more if you want it, still in the pot so it stays hot.
no subject
I hope I didn't grab at you in my sleep. I'm used to being cuddly with Makkachin.
