[Yuri's hands stay in Makkachin's fur as he looks back around, his smile fading some at the way Victor is looking at him. It makes his face feel hot, embarrassed for no adequate reason. He picks himself off the floor, puts his hand down for Makkachin to lick before telling him to stay, and grabbing his clothes to be able to change out of the borrowed ones. It would be a good step toward feeling more normal again.

He comes back out in a high-necked sweater and comfortable pants, and curls himself up against the arm of the couch, his hands tucked against his lap. It felt awkward again, being here with no real idea of how to talk to Victor. He is still a little sick, and more than a little humiliated, so he doesn't want to bring up the banquet.
